A business park bought for £87m at the height of the market has been put into receivership. Elaine Tooke and Peter Welborn of Knight Frank were appointed receivers to Hayes Business Park in Uxbridge last week, after the owners failed to repay a £57m loan from Morgan Stanley, secured against the park, injanuary. The receivership is the latest instance in a growing trend of loan servicers that manage securitised debt bringing in receivers on problem assets, This year marks the start of a spike in securitised loan maturities, said Capita Asset Services. Since the recession only securitised loans backed by prime - usually London - property, have been extended.
