Bigger food facility foodliner Inc. plans to double the size of its rail-to-truck transfer facility in Chicago, which is served by the Chicago South Shore & South Bend Railroad (CSS). The facility handles industrial food grade and non-food grade products, as well dry and liquid bulk products. The expansion would boost rail-car capacity at the facility, which now can handle 42 cars on four tracks, according to CSS's spring newsletter.
