UL Launches New Food Safety Program

A new training program from UL will address the growing needs of the global food industry and promote standards-based safety solutions. The UL Food Safety plan will help mitigate risk by employing science-based processes to address industry concerns, new regulations and consumer awareness of food safety issues. According to the organization, the training program is the foundation for a larger portfolio of services under development including traceability, validation and testing services.
