The objective of this paper is to clarify the effect of wind velocity and wind direction on the thermal insulation values of clothing ensembles. A series of experiments using the thermal manikin was carried out under the combining conditions of wind velocities (0.09-4.3m/s) and wind directions (0°,45°,90°,135°and 180°). Nude and five clothing ensembles were tested. The results showed that the clothing insulation decreased with increasing the wind velocity. The effect of the wind direction on the clothing insulation was small. The correction equations for clothing insulation value in windy condition were proposed.%温熱的な快適性を評価・予測するための多くの温熱指標は、その 算出の過程で着衣熱抵抗I_(c1)(クロ値)を必要とする。評価対象とな る着衣のクロ値を把握するためには、サーマルマネキンによる測定 が最も正確性が高いと考えられる。
