The Experience of Innovational Development Based on Integration

Despite the proclaimed intent to focus on innovational development at the state and corporate levels, Russia's substantial lag behind global leaders at the technical level has not allowed it to achieve success in creating a national system of innovation (NSI). Until now businesses in the domestic economy have been operating with outdated technology and inefficient business processes that are teetering on the brink of survival. There is no focus on improving labor productivity or the quality of production, many businesses are burdened by noncore assets, and there is no competitive ability on the market for high-tech goods within the country or abroad.
