Plexus to Build 2d Xiamen Facility

Plexus (plexus.com) has entered into an agreement to purchase land for the construction of a new manufacturing facility here, adjacent to its current facility. The facility will operate under the existing management team and will add approximately 180,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing capacity, the firm says. Construction is expected to begin in March 2011, with production commencing in the second half of 2012.
