摘要

This paper reports on a new approach to solve the short-termnoperation planning problem of hydrothermal power systems. It usesnevolution strategies to determine the optimal schedules of allnhydroelectric and thermal power plants in a closed optimization. Andecomposition of the optimization problem is not necessary. Numericalnexperiments show, that the proposed method is able to solve the complexnnonlinear optimization problem with its wealth of constraints innacceptable computation time
