The FutureGen Industrial Alliance I announced its list of Final Four J_ sites for consideration on July 25 with only two states represented, Illinois and Texas. The short list for the highly-publicized, USD1 billion, near-zero emissions coal-fueled power plant are: (1) Mattoon, Ill. (2) Tuscola, Ill. (3) Heart of Brazos near Jewett, TX. (4) Odessa, TX.
