David Benson reappointed chairman of Milford Haven Port Authority

David Benson first took up his post in 2007 bringing with him over 40 years' international experience in ferries, railways and airlines. During his tenure he has overseen major investment in facilities at the Port including the opening of two LNG terminals and the purchase of the former MoD site in Pembroke Dock. The Authority's financial performance has also improved during that period with 2009 pre-tax profits up over ￡4m compared with 2006 operational results of ￡179,000.
