To control the length of branched chains on polypropylene under different quantities of monomer and free radical capture agent, trimethylol propane triacrylate (TMPTA) was chosen as monomer, and tetraethylthiuram disulfide (TETDS) was chosen as free radicals capture agent, also known as co-agent. Samples were modified by melting reaction in the presence of DHBP, 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5(tert-butylperoxy) hexane, in an internal mixer.
