Our Annual Holiday began when our Group of 29 members met outside Strandtown PSNI Station at 9.30 am on Sunday 30th May to travel on a luxury Giles Tours coach to Westport, Co. Mayo. In high spirits we headed off joining the M1 motorway going south west to our first stop for refreshments just outside Dungannon. For some it was morning coffee and others it was Breakfast, either way it was enjoyed by all. We headed further south and crossed the border at Belcoo/ Black Lion. The weather was bright, if not sunny but most importantly it was dry! Our next stop was in Sligo, where we were able to look around and get some lunch in one of the numerous places available. We then travelled through Charlestown, Swinford, Castlebar and onto Westport to our destination the Westport Woods Hotel.
