CHINOOK CRASH VICTIMS REMEMBERED

Ballymena RUC/PSNI Local Voluntary Welfare Group for their Spring Trip to Oban with Highland heritage Tours, 19-23rd April visited the Chinook Crash Site on the Mull of Kintyre to remember all our security force colleagues who died on 2nd June 1994. As Group Chairman I thanked our Secretary Mary Brown, Treasurer John Howard and our Chairman Tommy Marcus who in a very dignified way conducted the service which was very emotional for us all. I knew most of the RUC GC Special Branch Officers remembered on the plaque Brian Fiotzsimonds my D/C. Inspector Newry and D/C/Supt Maurice Neilly, my Boss in North Region.
