Cay Dick relates the career path of Meg Gwyther who was one of the SCP's Union Learning Fund's project workers, who has now moved on to another position.rnMeg Gwyther trained at Southampton School of Podiatry and graduated from there in 2003. She took up her first job as a podiatrist working for Scholl before beginning a career within the National Health Service.rnMeg has always had an interest in career development for herself and for her colleagues so when she had the opportunity to become a Union Learning Representative (ULR) she took it. That was over three years ago.rnMeg used the knowledge and skills she obtained on the accredited training course for ULRs run by Unionlearn to fulfil the role. This she did with enthusiasm, lending support to colleagues who needed advice and guidance relating to learning and training needs and portfolio development.
