Notes: Swedish refiner Preem and state-owned utility Vattenfallwill evaluate building a large-scale green hydrogen production facilityat the Lysekil refinery, with a view to ramping up biofuels productionto 5 million cubic meters/year by 2030, the companies said in astatement.Depending on the results of a study into supplying Preem'shydrogen needs from large-scale electrolysis of water, due to becompleted by the summer, the next step "may be to prepare theconstruction of a first electrolysis plant at the refinery in Lysekil in theorder of 200-500 MW."
