The White House unveiled Dec. 13 a plan to increase access to electricvehicle charging infrastructure as part of President Joe Biden’s goal forelectric vehicles to account for half of new vehicle sales by 2030.Vice President Kamala Harris announced the Biden administration’sElectric Vehicle Charging Action Plan at an event in Maryland. The planwill help establish a “more uniform approach” to charging infrastructureto spur investment in the space and drive customer interest inpurchasing such a vehicle, the White House said in a fact sheet.
