Moniz Says White House Goal off 1 Million Electric Vehicles by 2015 Is 'a Stretch'

Obama set the goal of 1 million plug-in vehicles by 2015 in his first term, but the Energy Department's past projections of annual vehicle sales "have proven optimistic," according to a Congressional Research Service report released in April 2013.
