Mexico gas project delays remain hurdle as TC Energy eyes North America growth

TC Energy is no longer providing publicly an in-service date for anatural gas pipeline to serve central and western Mexico due to thelack of progress in completing talks with indigenous groups impactedby the project.The uncertainty about the Tuxpan-Tula project, which would spanmore than 155 miles and move gas from Tuxpan, Veracruz state, to Pueblaand Hidalgo states, was disclosed Tuesday as executives for the Canadianpipeline operator expressed optimism during a series of presentations toanalysts about growth opportunities across North America.
