Exelon executives Tuesday told investors they will support stateslooking to prevent potential negative impacts of a federal capacitymarket ruling in the PJM Interconnection and support state leadershipin requests to delay PJM’s next capacity auctions until 2021.The governors of Maryland, New Jersey and Illinois want 100% cleanenergy and we share that goal, Christopher Crane, Exelon’s presidentand CEO, said during the company’s fourth quarter 2019 earnings call.“Unfortunately, there is a clear conflict between clean energy goalsof our states and our customers on one side and the resourcedecisions being made by PJM and [Federal Energy RegulatoryCommission] FERC on the other,” Crane said.
