Iran’s giant Azadegan oil field started production innFebruary at a rate of 20,000 b/d, according to Iraniannnews agency Shana. “The pre-commissioning of earlynproduction of Azadegan has been started,” the technicalndirector of Karoun Oil and Gas Company, Safarali Raeesinwas quoted as saying. The Karoun company, affiliated tonthe National Iranian South Oil Company, is in charge ofnthe operation. “At the moment, a daily amount ofn20,000 b/d of a mixture of heavy and light crude oil isnbeing produced,” Raeesi said.
