摘要

A draft law passed by the German cabinet on May 11 will change planning policy to speed permitting of new electricity cables and other infrastructure by up to two years if it takes effect at the beginning of next year. Procedures will be simplified "to speed planning for transport routes and transmission cables and pipelines," applying to planning for electricity cables with 110kV voltage and above. A number of projects could benefit, in particular in northern Germany where further wind growth is expected. A Dena study on integrating wind energy into the electricity system published earlier this year identified 10 projects involving 380kV lines that need to be completed by 2015.
