Court removes grid bias

The Belgian constitutional court has struck down provisions that exclude renewables fed into the transmission grid from minimum subsidy.In an October 30 ruling on a case brought by Finnish paper multinational Stora Enso, the Court left the provisions in force until July 1, 2013, to give the regulator time to draft new regulations to comply with the ruling.
