Italy sells Jan-Apr 2021 guarantees of origin at Eur0.40/MWh

Italy has sold guarantees of origin certifying 4.8 TWh of production forthe first four months of 2021 at an average of Eur0.40/MWh ($0.48/MWh), renewable agency Gestore Servizi Energetici (GSE) said June 21.Wind and hydro volumes were fully placed in the sale, while theFebruary through April sales for other technologies failed to reach theirquota, falling short by around 300 GWh in February and by 700 GWh forthe other months.
