The A4 and A5 Transport Corridor Improvement Schemes

Motorists travelling along the existing A4 between Dungannon and Ballygawley in Co Tyrone may have noticed the substantially advanced five km of road works at the western end of the M1 from Stangmore Roundabout to just beyond the Granville Road junction near Killyliss. However this work is only the tip of the iceberg. Although largely hidden from view, there remains another 15.5km of new dual carriageway being developed which will be delivered through the Department of Regional Development (DRD) Roads Service Design Build Finance & Operate Package 2 (DBFO P2).
