摘要

Hydrocarbon waxes of different composition were characterized by high temperature gas chromatography. The resulting GC data were correlated with various physical properties of the waxes, such as needle- penetration, refractive index, melting point, and kine- matic viscosity. In addition to HTGC, SFC was also per- formed. Comparison of chromatographic techniques for the separation of n-alkanes from waxes by HTGC and SFC were also done. Key Words: HTGC (high temperature gas chromatography), SFC (super critical fluid chromato- graphy) and Petroleum waxes.
