'Practical Inspection and Maintenance' PWI London Section Half-Day Seminar South Bank University 3 Oct 2007

This highly successful Seminar was aimed at all staff involved in the management of the permanent way, including track, technical and project management personnel. About 100 persons attended, and we were pleased to welcome within that number PWI President Andy Savage. The Seminar opened with a short film (courtesy of Messrs Telerail) demonstrating how Measured Shovel Packing was carried out on jointed bullhead track some sixty years ago.
