Letter from the Chief Executive Officer

I was delighted to present the PWI trophy to Network Rail's Track Apprentice of the Year, Katie Tingle, at their awards ceremony at HMS Collingwood, Gosport. Katie has just come to the end of her three-year advanced apprenticeship and is based at Derby. She has agreed to join our Ginger Group, where I'm sure she will be a tremendous asset. It's inspiring to see two hundred infrastructure apprentices, keen to make their mark on the rail industry, and reassuring that Network Rail continues to invest in its engineers for the future.
