Millennials are redefining the workforce as we know, today. On an average, miilennials (aged 16-30 years) in India are spending about 2.2 hours a day (or about 34 days of a year) on their mobile devices, says a report by global research consultancy firm TNS. These figures alone demonstrate how miilennials will become the number one catalyst for accelerated change in the workplace. Already, generational differences are revolutionizing the work environment, with the focus shifting to mobile, social and cloud applications to ensure convenience and ease of work. Being tech savvy is what makes this generation so extraordinary - and influential. As Forrester Research put it, technology has shaped much of their lives. Miilennials (or Generation Cs - C is for Connected) have grown up with online shopping, smartphones, and social media. In 2014, more than eight in 10 used a smartphone, and almost half used a tablet.
