Costa Diadema is built on Carnival Dream platform

On 10 December 2012 construction began of 132,500gt Costa Diadema at Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard. The first building block, weighing 504 tonnes and measuring 15.7m beam and 29m length, was laid in the drydock.
