Background Secreted Frizzled-related protein 1 (sFRP1) is frequently silenced in many types of cancer, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), leading to aberrant activation of Wnt signaling and thereby facilitating tumor development. In this study, we aimed to investigate whether restoration of sFRP1 affected HCC growth and metastasis.
