Irving says new fuel discount offer a hit with consumers

Canadian refiner and marketer Irving Oil says more than 40,000 of its customers have saved money on fuel since it introduced a gasoline discount promotion three weeks ago. The pilot program was created in partnership with Shaw's Supermarkets, and customers have been saving an average of 24cts/gal when redeeming Shaw's coupons at Irving locations.rnThe Irving promo runs through Feb. 14, but customers can redeem coupons until month's end, says Ross Elkin, of Irving's Gas Rewards Team.
