OSD-IMT is designing two riserless light well intervention/inspection, maintenance and repair vessels for Austin Offshore Pte Ltd, the shipping arm of Upstream Drilling Pte Ltd in Singapore. The vessels will be built by China Merchants Industry Holdings Co Ltd, Hong Kong, China. The 120m long IMT9120 vessels will have diesel-electric propulsion and are intended to carry out riserless light well intervention, light construction, subsea installation and inspection, maintenance and repair of subsea installations. They can deploy three remotely operated vehicles and have a 250-tonne capacity active heave compensated crane and a travelling gantry well intervention tower. The 9,500 dwt vessels will have accommodation for 140 people. They will have a beam of 30m and operational draught of 7.5m.
