Katun acquires MSI's toner business

Katun has acquired the toner cartridge business of fellow aftermarket manufacturer Media Sciences International (MSI). The $11 million transaction sees Katun acquire the tangible and intangible assets of MSI's toner manufacturing business. In addition, Katun will become the exclusive master distributor of MSI's ink stick product line for Xerox printers for a period of three years.
