RoSPA members want specific regulation to be introduced to enhance the director-level leadership of health and safety within businesses and organisations. That is the result of an online survey of members' views on the issue which took place over May and June.rnMembers were asked whether they favour guidance or regulation as the best way to motivate directors to enhance the leadership of accident and ill health prevention, taking into consideration issues such as liability, red tape burdens and clarity. 64 percent of members who took part in the survey said they favoured regulation compared to 32 percent who favoured a voluntary guidance approach.
