摘要

The breakdown of costs and trends for an occupational health service in a developing country such as South Africa could be used to justify and encourage the establishment of health services at workplaces as part of the national primary healthcare policy implementation. It would then be possible to make accessible 6.5 times the current annual budget for primary health care without necessitating generation of further general or specific tax revenue.
