FIGHTING MENTAL ILLNESS

Soldiers who end up in hospital due to mental health problems stand a low chance of staying in the armed forces over the longer term, according to a UK-based study of 384 soldiers admitted to hospital between 2004 and 2007 for mental health problems. Length of hospital stay was irrelevant but receiving individual therapy was superior to group treatment in this regard.
