TRAINING GUIDANCE

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has published guidance on the new right for employees to request time for training, which comes into force on 6 April.rnThe right to request time to train is included in the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2oog.The right will be phased in and will be made available to employees in organisations with 250 or more employees from April 2010 before being extended to all employees from April 2011.
