RWE Power has pulled out of Bulgaria's VVER plant project at Belene, saying that the Bulgarian government had not been able to guarantee its share of the financing.rnRWE Power spokesman Jorg Kaerlin said October 28 that RWE had terminated its joint venture with Bulgarian state-owned utility NEK that day, saying, "we could not come to a successful agreement about financing" the project within the time frame specified in the joint venture agreement.
