Rosatom says new floating plant conceptual design finalized, ready for sale

Rosatom has finalized the preliminary conceptual design for its new Optimized Floating Power Unit and is ready to start promoting the design in international markets, Andrey Nikipelov, the general director of Atomenergomash, Rosatom’s machine-building department, said in an interview May 14 at the Atomexpo 2018 conference in Sochi, Russia. Rosatom made a presentation of the design June 26 at the World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris.
