New nuclear engineering lab at Lancaster University

A new chemistry laboratory that will address nuclear decommissioning issues, as well as other concerns being raised by new nuclear power programs, was officially opened on July 14 at Lancaster University. The Lloyd's Register Educational Trust (LRET) Nuclear Engineering Laboratory will focus on improving the cleanup of the U.K.'s nuclear legacy and the recycling of nuclear fuel.
