Shaw partners with Toshiba to build ABWRs

The partnership between toshiba, the Japanese equipment manufacturer, and the Shaw Group, the U.S.-based engineering and construction firm, was already substantial before a November 29 announcement that made it even bigger. Shaw has signed a commercial relationship agreement (CRA), in effect until 2030, to be the exclusive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for Toshiba's ABWR boiling water reactor projects, existing and planned, everywhere in the world outside of Japan and Vietnam.
