Confirmatory orders issued at two Entergy plants

In late January, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued orders confirming ac-tions to be taken by Entergy Nuclear Oper-ations because of incidents at two of the company's nuclear power plants, Fitz-Patrick in New York and Palisades in Michi-gan. In both cases, the orders are based on agreements worked out by the NRC and En-tergy through alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and while Entergy must meet a number of commitments, the NRC has not levied a fine in either case.
