As happens each year, the gavel turnover from the American Nuclear Society's outgoing president to the incoming president was a part of the board meeting held on June 20, the last day of the ANS Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Ga. Michael Corradini, 2012-2013 president, ended his term, now taking a seat on the board of directors as immediate past president. Donald Hoffman, pictured on the cover of this issue, takes over as the 2013-2014 president. With an enthusiasm that can't be suppressed and a passion for ANS and what it stands for, Hoffman has assembled an ambitious set of initiatives to help make ANS the society for all nuclear science and technology professionals.
