D&D of Hartford's PFP nears end

In July, the Department of Energy commenced demolition of the main processing facility at Hanford's Plutonium Finishing Plant (PFP), marking the final step in the decontamination and decommissioning of the former plutonium production plant. DOE contractor CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company is on track to complete the demolition of the PFP by the end of the year or in early 2018.
