On November 13, Russia's Duma approved the bill which established Rosatom as the state corporation for atomic energy, after the third reading. It covers not only nuclear power but also nuclear weapons plants, and through it Rosatom will gain shares in Atomenergoprom and some state organisations. The bill was adopted by the Russian Federal Council on 23 November, with 134 votes in favour, one vote against and no abstentions.
