A Grand Annual Dinner

The Nuclear Institute Western Branch held its annual dinner at the Grand Hotel, Bristol on 13 March 2013. There were over 220 attendees. The evening was organised by Western Branch Committee member David Smillie of Babcock International.Anne Lawrence, the Western Branch Chair, extended a warm welcome to those companies attending the dinner, and along with David Smillie extended a particular welcome to the Nuclear Lunch Club whose members and guests were attending for the first time. The Nuclear Lunch Club was founded by Gareth Davies following the Bristol Dinner in 2011 The inaugural meeting was held at Burges Salmon's Bristol Office with subsequent meetings hosted by Hydrock, Accenture and Provelio - all meetings are concluded by the host passing a pink Burges Salmon 'fish' to the next meeting's host.
