摘要

A model for calculating the spectral and angular characteristics of the scattered radiation of clouds is developed for various observation conditions and microphysical parameters of clouds. At the first stage, for a given wavelength and the distributions of microphysical parameters of clouds, the following statistical mean characteristics of single scattering of cloud particles are calculated: the coefficients of absorption and scattering and the scattering indicatrix. The following asymptotic methods of the diffraction problem are used for the approximate calculation of the scattering characteristics of particles: the Huygens-Fresnel (HF) method, method of geometrical optics (GO), and the method of geometrical theory of diffraction (GTD).
