摘要

The results of investigation of millimeter-wave-bandd balanced frequency converters based on back- to-back Schottky diodes and 3-dB branch and ring directional couplers (DCs) made of a single-crystal film of a high-temperature superconductor (HTSC) are presented. It is shown that the use of the HTSC film reduces the conversion noise and loss related to the transmission loss in the DC's microstrip transmission lines.
