PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite base material for film-forming a YBCO-based high-temperature superconductor having improved orientation reproducibility capable of film-forming the YBCO-based high-temperature superconductive film having improved orientation properties without depending on a change in film-formation conditions, and to provide a manufacturing method of the YBCO-based high-temperature superconductive film having improved orientation properties. PSOLUTION: In the composite base material for film-forming the YBCO-based high-temperature superconductor having improved orientation reproducibility, Zr or a Zr oxide is present partially on the surface of the base material where crystal orientation is aligned. In the manufacturing method of the YBCO-based high-temperature superconductive film having improved orientation properties, the superconductive film is manufactured by using the composite base material for film-forming the YBCO-based high-temperature superconductor.
