Endless rolling system for bars and rods

NKK supplied the Endless Rolling System for bars and wire rods at Tokyo Stee Manufacturing Col., Ltd. Takamastu Works and achieved commercial operation from in March 1998 as the world's first And only Endless Rolling System for long products. This system enables the welding of billets that Come directly from the continuous caster at the upstream side of rolling mill train and realize the Endless Rolling operation for the production of bars and wire rods. This report shows this latest Facility and the subsequent development of the technology.
