The WORLD'S newest coun try, South Sudan, is now on the brink of all-out war with the nation to which it once belonged. Last week it accused Sudan of bomb ing its territory, despite the expiration of a U.N. deadline for the two states to cease aggressions or face sanctions. Khartoum claims the South is occupying territory that doesn't belong to it; Sudan considers this an ongoing hostile act.
